Business Analyst Oracle
Position
The Business Analyst Oracle / Project Manager Oracle will work in the Venray office, the main logistic centre in Europe. You will be part of a team of 4 business analysts, one situated in Italy, one situated in Luxembourg and one in the UK. You will work about 75% from the Venray office and 25 % in the EMEA area. In this position you will closely work together with your colleagues in the USA. To really be able to drive the process you have relevant experience in business analyses, project management and people management. Your technical knowledge is centred around logistics, order management and Oracle. As you will manage different project teams in different countries, proven experience in different cultural structures is required.
Your Performance Standards and Expectations will be:
o Evaluate and understand Oracle project requirements by interviewing business units, researching information from available sources such as subject area experts, existing processes /programs/systems or reference sources.
o Prepare business level project specifications, review with corporate project team and/or end users and negotiate acceptance of proposals.
o Prepare technical level project architecture and specifications.
o Organize and manage technical development teams.
o Co-ordinate business, programming, other IT and outsourced units within the context of the project.
Education
Computer or Business related degree, direct experience with the responsibilities and specific duties set forth in the position expectations may be substituted for some formal education.
Skills and Experience
o Three years relevant experience of Oracle 11i implementation /development specifically in SCM module (INV, BOM, WIP, PO, OM, WSH, ODP). Specific WMS, Cost Accounting and Shipment executions experience is appreciated. Some of this experience should be within a multi-lingual, pan European environment
o Ability to analyze business requirements and devise information technology based solutions
o Ability to travel internationally when required
o Ability to understand cultural, legal and other difference between countries and accommodate varying European requirements within the scope of the project

Steeds meer kerken is Nederland verliezen hun oorspronkelijke functie. Als gevolg van de ontkerkelijking en de crisis vervullen anno 2011 nog maar 7000 van de 19.000 godshuizen die Nederland ooit kende de taak waarvoor ze waren gebouwd. De rest heeft een nieuwe bestemming gevonden, of staat nog in de verkoop. Dat meldt het Overleg Provinciale Erfgoedhuizen Nederland (OPEN). 'Er is sowieso een groeiende interesse in erfgoed', stelt voorzitter Andries Ponsteen. 'Maar het herbestemmen van oude panden als kerken past ook in de trend van duurzaamheid.'Monumentaal erfgoedDe organisatie Reliplan is al 20 jaar gespecialiseerd in het doorverkopen van monumentaal erfgoed, waaronder kerken. De makelaar opereert niet alleen in Nederland, maar ook in Duitsland, België en andere Europese landen. De afgelopen 2 decennia vond Reliplan voor 900 Nederlandse kerken een nieuwe bestemming, veelal in de culturele sector. Op dit moment biedt de organisatie 63 kerkgebouwen in Nederland te koop aan. De prijzen variëren van 250.000 euro tot 4 miljoen.'Het is zonde om die prachtige gebouwen te slopen', stelt zegsvrouw Mickey Bosschert. 'Bovendien maken veel kerken deel uit van ons culturele erfgoed, dus zou dat niet eens mogen. En er zijn zoveel herbestemmingen te vinden.' Er is doorgaans veel interesse in de gebouwen vanuit de culturele sector. 'Maar je kunt kerken ook gebruiken voor onderwijs, recreatie of zelfs sportbeoefening.' Reliplan heeft niet alleen makelaars in dienst, maar ook ontwikkelaars, juristen en bouwkundigen die kopers adviseren over herinrichting van de godshuizen.Het Erfgoedhuis Zuid-Holland, dat onderdeel uitmaakt van OPEN, organiseert op 13 oktober een symposium in de Maassilo in Rotterdam over de herbestemming van monumentaal erfgoed. Passagier Air New Zealand kan bieden op business-stoel
Air New Zealand gaat economy-passagiers vragen wat ze ervoor over hebben business class te vliegen. Ze mogen een bod doen op een stoel op internationale vluchten. Als het bod wordt geaccepteerd, ontvangen de passagiers een paar dagen voor vertrek een bevestiging per email. Air New Zealand wil hiermee extra verdienen aan stoelen die anders leeg waren gebleven.Het is niet duidelijk hoe de luchtvaartmaatschappij precies bepaalt welke biedingen worden geaccepteerd. De passagier kan online enkel zien hoe groot de kans op succes is: een groene balk betekent grote kans, rood is vrijwel kansloos. Upgrades van frequent flyers gaan altijd voor. Het aantal beschikbare stoelen zal variëren.Air New Zealand heeft het OneUp-programma getest bij reizigers die hun ticket hadden gekocht in de VS, het Verenigd Koninkrijk en Australië, maar gaat dat verder doorvoeren.
